Tofu Omelette


(Serves 4)

Silken Tofu



  • 1 tube Unicurd Silken Tofu
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 stalk leek, slice finely
  • 3 crabsticks, slice finely
  • 1 medium onion, slice finely
  • 8 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tsps sesame oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • Dash of pepper

Mash tofu through a sieve and drain with a cloth. Mix sieved tofu, eggs and seasoning. Heat sesame oil in a non-stick frying pan, spread 1/4 of the mixture over the base of the pan. Sprinkle 1/4 portion of leek, onion, crabstick and shrimp. Cover and cook over low flame for 10mins until shrimp and vegetables are cooked. Repeat to prepare three more omelettes.

Hot Tips:

To lower cholesterol content, replace one whole egg with two egg whites.
