Golden Seafood Tofu Cake

 
 
 
 

 

Ingredients:
  • 1 box Unicurd Silken or Chinese tofu
  • 100g carrots, shredded
  • 2 pcs water chestnuts, finely diced
  • 100g prawns, mashed
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp soybean oil
Seasoning:
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornflour
Method:
  • Mashed tofu through a sieve and drain off excess water.
  • Mix the sieved tofu with all ingredients and seasoning (except soybean oil) fill them into the original tofu box and steam for 10 minutes
  • Leave tofu to cool, then cut into 5 slices. Fry tofu slices in soybean oil until golden brown and serve.

Hot Tips:

Tofu cake maybe sandwiched with mango or banana slices and served with mayonnaise or chilli sauce
